Yeah, the fact that she, who is not an American, had the audacity to question a real American on his birth is where all my sympathy ended for her. She broke the law when she came here, but she jumped right on that racist bandwagon without a second thought.
People are always saying she seems like a nice lady, but racists are not nice people. Period.
We all know Eric Trump is a vampire (Google it), and as such, he must have an underground lair at the White House. That makes him the only person connected to the administration with the subterranean skills to create an escape tunnel. The sinkhole was just a minor tunnel cave-in that happened weeks after Melania fled.
So that's why Eric wasn't invited to the Camp David weekend retreat.
I thought Junior and Eric were doing that jointly.
Melania is supposedly hosting an event for Gold Star families today. It's closed to the press though.
Maybe some of the families will spill the beans.
Another theory about the weekend getaway at Camp David: Tiffany is the only adult Trump child to be clean of misdemeanors and other dubious acts (that we know of, so far), so the business could be signed over to her. Of course, she would be a figurehead only, but it would free up the others from at least some of their looming legal difficulties. This theory explains why young Barron was not along - he'd be bored to death and it was raining most of the weekend, I understand, so outdoor activities would be out, even if a friendly secret serviceman were around the keep the kid company. No reason to go to Camp David just to play video games.
Back to the rest of the clan: Tiffany would also have to agree to head up the business in name only. Being isolated at Camp David and pressured by her father, brother, sister, and brother-in-law would make it tough to disagree. Of course, she could argue later that she was under duress and was a sacrificial lamb, and this may have been a consideration as well.
I'm leaning more towards the theory that Melania's surgery was more serious and more extensive than admitted. She may be in no condition to run, sadly...
If they wanted to avoid all this ridiculous speculation, comments, etc., they could be adults and give timely updates.
It is concerning that the First Lady goes in for a medical procedure that is suppose to be minor, and then we don't see her for weeks.
And then of course, the longer it goes on - -the more people play with it and create scenarios of what is going wrong.
If they want to downplay her absence from public life, they would issue photos today -- just one or two. They don't need a full on press coverage. They should avoid snarky, childish tweets, statements (Sanders, the President, the FLOTUS twitter account especially).
Or they can poke the bear and be snarky and defensive and nasty and purposely not address the issue
I hope she is okay. I suspect her medical procedure was more than we were told and she's been recovering. Hope she is fine -- physically and emotionally.
