Poor Melina? Nonsense.
The woman was a aging Eastern European *model* (and I use that term loosely), rapidly hitting the wall and her sell by date. New York City like Paris, London, and a few other world class cities are full of such creatures.
They work as models, bottle girls, become mistresses and or "escorts"; the lot. All however have one overriding main goal; to marry and do so well.
If you've never been to Russia or Eastern Europe let me bring you up to speed. The places are actually quite full of very attractive *white* young men and women who also happen to be poor. It is the reason why both countries are now record producers if not dominate the porn industry. It is also why barren (straight) couples from North America and Western Europe flock there for the other industry that involves making money on one's back; surrogacy.
You can go online and read media accounts of DT basically publically humiliating *poor Melina* during while they were dating and or even during engagement. Yet she still became pregnant and married the guy.
*Poor Melina* most certainly knew who DT was and all about his prior three marriages (and how he cheated around on all of them), and or general that he is one of the worse sort of men far as women are concerned.
In exchange for giving DT another child and so forth MT has been risen up further than she otherwise ever would have been. This was before becoming First Lady of the United States which piles onto the (some) wealth and whatever else DT brought to the table.
Melina's parents have been brought to the USA and set up in style. She has become the patron saint of Eastern European/Russian women. So much so that scores of them taking part in that "born on USA soil anchor baby" schemes based in Florida are naming their daughters *Melina*.
Like that song says:
