Why would MT leave? All that she would get most certainly was settled via pre-nuptial agreement, and you *KNOW* the Trump kids (especially Ivanka) would make sure she didn't get a cent or anything else more.
Now that His Orangeness has become POTUS MT will have 24/7 secret service for life, and will receive some sort of pension (IIRC) if she survives her husband.
DT is >70, does not seem to ever have eaten well, and indeed seems to have put on weight these past two years. The guy could stroke out at anytime, so why go through with a divorce?
We already know the Trumps sleep in separate bedrooms (via media reports IIRC), so that side of marital life may either be over or greatly reduced.
If so, why don't they say she is recovering from a "procedure" and is taking some time off?
If it's the kidney thing, it makes no sense. That's an outpatient procedure. The rest of us would be hustled out the door the second we could stagger to our feet.
I can understand a day or two, out of an abundance of caution. But 5 days in the hospital and several more weeks out of sight?

The woman was a aging Eastern European *model* (and I use that term loosely), rapidly hitting the wall and her sell by date. New York City like Paris, London, and a few other world class cities are full of such creatures.
They work as models, bottle girls, become mistresses and or "escorts"; the lot. All however have one overriding main goal; to marry and do so well.

In exchange for giving DT another child and so forth MT has been risen up further than she otherwise ever would have been. This was before becoming First Lady of the United States which piles onto the (some) wealth and whatever else DT brought to the table.
Melina's parents have been brought to the USA and set up in style. She has become the patron saint of Eastern European/Russian women. So much so that scores of them taking part in that "born on USA soil anchor baby" schemes based in Florida are naming their daughters *Melina*.

I don't see trump as a wife-beater. Mental torture can be just as painful though.
You might want to take a look at Ivana's original statement about Trump's propensities from the time when she and Trump divorced.
She later recanted...and had a million or more reasons to do so.
