Yes, I'd say you are right about that. And that the media uses that to generate more interest. Its just that comments are so......I don't even know the word I'm looking for. What have we become as a society that we so focus on the vague, unsubstantiated negativity in the media and act like angry villagers with torches and pitchforks out to crucify others.
Wow, did you call that right, in my opinion! And it is certainly not just one "side" who is guilty of that, imo, but the extremists on both sides!

You wrote "these men" several times....seeming to indicate men of inner city neighborhoods. You are generalizing. You are insinuating all men living in inner city neighborhoods are the same. Ridiculous. You insinuate most men are in prison. Also untrue.
Why does it matter how many children a person has? How do you know the "mentality" of the men living inner city? What do you mean?
Have you thought of the difficult, extreme conditions that might accompany living in an inner city environment?
Do people there do something to deserve being there or do they find themselves in this predicament through no fault of their own?
Have you any idea what it's like not to know:
where your next meal is coming from...
how to pay rent money?
get clothing for your children?
how you get medical care for your sick mom?
I thought not.
Good thought process there. I don't know when my next meal will be, so I will go ahead and pump out a bunch of kids so they will suffer my same fate.
He did not win. Humans are (supposed to be) above just being breeding machines. He did not win at the human thing. If he gave his 43 kids some kind great start in life - but he lived in the hood so he did not have the ability to give them a better life. He did not support them, he's a loser, a scum bag for being so irresponsible and he will have caused a lot of pain and suffering and poverty as his legacy.
You can think that all you want....but when its all said and done......100 years from now more of his gene pool will be around than yours.
Biological pride only should exist if said person can afford to support all his offspring. Somehow I doubt that is the case here.
I knew a young single mom dating a man 20 years her senior. She brought one of his kids to a game and we were talking about it because they were engaged. She mentioned he had other kids and when I asked how many she told me 19 (!). But she said that was okay because he wasn’t involved in all their lives. I said that’s actually worse. I have since lost touch with her. I really hope she didn’t end up marrying him.
By the way, both parties were white. This isn’t limited to black people.
I am not making a moral judgment about it. I am making a biological judgment. If you look at the so called most affluent and successful countries.....look at their low birth rate. Look at the birth rate of Europe....Japan....etc. If there ever really was a great "Atlantas"......there is no trace of those people now......so how great were they really biologically? They went the route of the Neanderthals. You can make moral judgements all day long....but if you are not reproducing.....biologically you are not "winning", because that is what we have been programmed and equipped to do, notwithstanding our big brains.

another thing is this....do you know how hard some couples TRY to have a baby and can't? Given the decline in the number and quality of sperm in advanced Western society.....this guy sure seemed to be able to do his thing. When I hear about people having trouble having children.....its usually middle and upper class folks.

Look at Genghis Khan. He is probably the greatest mass murderer, rapist, and pillager in human history, worse than Hitler and Stalin combined, yet he is probably the greatest biological winner. His ancestors, with his DNA, are billionaires, the poor, the middle class, the upper class, rulers of countries, inventors, poets, socialists, communists, capitalists, scientists, etc. His genes made a lot more impact on progress of human civilization than most any other do-gooder family who brought up their single child to be an outstanding human being. That lion is a winner as well. When all said and done - he is the biological winner. Just like one of your peasant ancestors somewhere down your family tree who had 10 kids, whose wife died in childbirth and he slipped and fell, broke his leg and died. Yet here you are. Both of your ancestors are winners. The rest of the people are just in the dust of history.
