I thought trade wars were good and easy to win?
Yep, them Trump voters sure do love GOVERNMENT HANDOUTS, oops i mean WELFARE, Trumpers love taking WELFARE payments from fed, here we see Trump supporters taking tens of billions (it might go as high as 30 billion) in WELFARE from the federal gov and that is on TOP of the hundreds of billions in WELFARE Republicans are taking every year. Trumper deflect and pretend they don't get WELFARE, but this is just another in the long long list of WELFARE payments the Trump supporters ask for and receive.

It is what they do, Trump's supporters love to complain about federal handouts while they are getting lots and lots of WELFARE . I guess acting like victims is working for trumpers .

Agreed, Trump is looking more and more like a communist or socialist everyday. Well at least for his cult members.

Trump is using tariffs which reduce competitiveness by protecting and coddling billionaire owned companies, like KOCH industries.....

Trump is giving money to farmers to destroy crops and meat.

Trump is giving massive tax breaks to coal miners which comes from the pockets of hardworking Americans.

That's the way to win a trade war we have been losing for decades.
It's a terrible idea.

The rules of Capitalism are very simple:

1] You must produced a product or provide a service that is in demand; and
2] The product or service you provide must be of the highest possible quality relative to price; and
3] Your product or service must be competitively priced.

If farmers can't make money, they need to grow a different crop that allows them to make money, instead of sucking up government subsidies.

The same reason milk is expensive.

The Free Market price of a gallon of milk is actually $0.65-$0.70/gallon.

The reason you pay $2.50-$2.99/gallon for milk is because government takes your tax dollars and gives them to dairy farmers who slaughter their dairy cattle and/or literally pour milk down the drain in order to create an artificial shortage of milk and artificially inflate the price of milk.

This is a practice that has been going on since the Great Depression.

The government has also taken your tax dollars and bought milk (and also cheese) to remove it from consumer supply to create an artificial shortage and drive up prices. Different Administrations have done different things with the purchased milk. The Reagan and Bush I Administrations would have it processed into UHT and sell it back to the military at bargain basement prices. The Clinton and Bush II Administrations bought it and destroyed it. For at least a few years, the Obama Administration bought it, had it processed into UHT and then distributed it with international aid packages and as part of humanitarian assistance.

So chump is imposing tariffs on other countries, which in turn Americans will have to pay through this bail-out? Are we in the freakin twilight zone? Shouldn't a person have the intelligence of at least a 9th grader to be president? Apparently not.

I just realized that chump doesn't understand debt. Billions here, trillions there. Doesn't matter to him, he is used to filling for bankruptcy and probably thinks he can do the same for America.

Not if Obama’s had tried to level the trading field. But he never even tried to to get more fair trade practices from our competitors who take total advantage of us.

In a nutshell, yes.

But who cares? The important thing is to buy those votes in the Midwest so he can be reelected.

Perhaps he doesn't understand dollars since he's so used to being paid in rubles.

The paid posters are waiting to hear how to spin this. Before the evening is out we'll be hearing about how Obama forced Trump to do this and his cultists will lap it up.
