So, YES, they could take a couple of days and get statements .

Or, the Senate Committee could subpoena the principals, then take a couple of hours and get the statements, under oath, subject to perjury laws.
Please keep in mind that many of the members of the Senate (and the House of Representatives) are LAWYERS!

"FAMOUS letter"??
At this point, IMO, "INFAMOUS" would be much more apropos.

Yeah, I do. Nothing worse than a woman lying about rape or attempted rape because that hurts REAL victims.

I don't think it's likely in this case because any woman would have to be out of her MIND to volunteer for this lynching for no reason.

Nobody puts baby in the corner....
LOL!

They don't want to subpoena anyone - certainly not the witness.

As for that last part - you quoted me but I didn't mention any letter.

Senate can do the same thing......whatever the FBI does, they will give the statements they took from the accused and accuser and give it the Senate.....Senate still wants them under oath and for the record answering questions.

so why bother with the FBI? She said she wants to be heard and the Senate offered her a big platform, public or private.,,,,so let her go straight to the Senate.....why waste time with the FBI?

Because the senate refuses to subpoena the witness.

Any normal person would immediately disavow her the moment she made her ridiculous request that Kavanaugh testify first. But liberals are still behind her!

The only person who has not submitted voluntarily to being interviewed by the Senate is Christine Ford. Everyone else has already testified under oath.

nobody has been subpoena, not even the doctor.......let MRS FORD lay down her allegations under oath for the record and then let's see if the Senate needs to subpoena a witness or witnesses that already been on the record that They denied her allegations.

All the FBI can do is take her statement, his denial, the other 2 witnesses denials and pass it to the Senate....they will not do a criminal investigation or analysis.

FBI can't subpoena anybody.....so why waste time with the FBI?

Small schools; FBI could potentially locate other witnesses.

The fact is, Kavanaugh and his supporters do NOT want the FBI involved whereas the Professor is BEGGING the FBI to get involved.

Huh.
