The fact that it is two people now changes my opinion. Honestly, I really dislike Kavanaugh, so I wouldn't be disappointed to see him go down. But the evidence of this second allegation seems weak too. Will she testify?
I don't know about her, but Avenatti says his client (the third one) is willing to testify. Lining up like planes on a runway, lol. Ronan Farrow is who broke the second story. I find it credible because he's the one who broke the Weinstein and Moonves stories as well.
There was no dirt on Gorsuch because there didn't need to be. He was replacing a very conservative judge. The Dems weren't losing anything by allowing Gorsuch onto the court. The numbers stayed the same on both sides.
Now replacing Kennedy is another matter as he was often the swing vote. To replace him with a conservative judge is quite detrimental to Democrats and they know it. That's why they are now pulling this crap.

She doesn't sound too sure of her story herself. I don't think she's making it up, but she needed days of careful reassessment of her memory to be sure it was Kavanaugh. She was also nearly passed out, and feared questions. This is by her account. I mean, I find it credible, but it's not as strong a story as it might be. She says she wasn't sure it was him for a long time.
Second accuser can't seem to get anyone she named as witnesses to support her story. It's that interesting? And it took 6 days of working with a lawyer to "remember" it was him. Isn't that interesting too? But the most interesting part to me is that during his many FBI background checks there was no hint of any of this. Isn't that fascinating?
I just wonder if they put him up knowing he might not get through if he does great he is qualified beyond reproach. If he doesn't we have Amy Barrett as our go-to backup. The thing is that the Dems will not allow her to have a hearing this close to the mid-terms. Even though they were the ones that founded the Biden rule, and screamed when the Republicans used it, they will use it again because it suits their needs.
Then you should be glad that Ford isn't a judge on sexual assault cases. She never came forward, allowing her alleged attacker to subject other girls to the same.
