We have always been lax on convicting banks for wrong doing going back to Reagan, a few convictions would get their attention. It doesn't mean Holder was complicit, these cases are complicated, not a slam dunk like Enron.

Holder was/is a crook.

More than 1,000 bankers were convicted during the "Savings & Loan scandal.

Yes Keating and Paul were convicted, I don't see a lot of others that was the result of Reagans deregulation of the banking . Today we have regulators internal to banks as watchdogs, that has not been the case in the past.

Look at Wells Fargo the last two years, no criminal convictions.

The lose wheels are starting to come off the paddy wagon at the top of the DOJ/FBI. Mueller has to be worried now that his boss is providing another reason to be fired. Rosenstein's conflicts of interest were reason enough but now a meeting with those he supervises provides all the cause necessary for his removal. It doesn't matter if it was a joke or not. As we have heard so often from the loons on the left, words matter and the audience does too.

Appropriate for Rosenstein to joke about wiretapping?

Rosenstein reportedly discussed wearing 'wire,' invoking 25th Amendment against Trump

They would need a subsequent action and actual proof to get him fired.

No sympathy if you can't beat stupid in a debate. I beat them all the time.

Stupid is trying to tell us what the evidence says before its known. This thread and plenty of others are full of post like that from the anti-Trumpers speculating.
How many times have we heard " we got Trump now" ? To many to count the last two years.
