I guess this is one way to get political about the meat we eat and how it came to be on our plate at meal time.

Well of course. I don't like unnecessary animal cruelty but realize it can't be eliminated practically. So cultures are crueler to both animals and humans. You have those who selectively defend crueler cultures as much as you have those they accuse of selectively condemning them.

It's not horsechit. Are you saying halal slaughterhouses are more humane? Possibly, but probably not and if not you'll never see PETA and other liberal groups condemning members of other cultures like they do the native culture.

Only benefit is it's a sign to a civilized society that anyone that does this are psychopaths. It's the first thing people remember disturbing about individuals before they go from torturing and killing animals to progressing on becoming a serial killer.

NO slaughter house is humane. Stop attributing things I'm not saying to me. I'm saying it's horsechit that singling out halal practices for special mention is hyperbolic and prejudicial nonsense. Especially with the reference to PETA and large "L" Liberals turning a blind eye exclusively to them. They're all ignored and allowed to flourish with little oversight.

It's possible they can't be made humane but some are more than others. I'm not attributing statements to you. I'm asking the question is halal more inhumane and do liberals condemn it? You seem to be saying all slaughter is inhumane and there's not degrees of inhumane.

I've noticed people who lean liberal in here seem to be very loyal followers of the extreme left without any free thought. I too was once a liberal because they used to be for the little guy, for the farmer, for the animal lovers, for equal rights, but when they started to get extreme with their anti-American rhetoric, using their progression to push urban cities onto the country people, look the other way on animal abuse when the abusers are part of their identity political groups, I knew it was time to walk away. They are a joke. They claim they are against big corporations and wall street, but yet their biggest financial backers are some of the biggest corporation, wealthiest people and wall street.

But, I think all barbaric acts need to be banned, including the circumcision of boys. Any kind of body mutilation on children who aren't even old enough to consent, like circumcision or getting babies ears pierced should be outlawed.
