A credible account would include a witness or some form of evidence. With the Kavanaugh circus, none of the "witnesses" named by the accuser admit to there having been any such incident at a party, not even the friend who accompanied the "victim". Right now, all we have is "she said; he said".
it is not the purview of the FBI to investigate local crimes. now if the local authorities were given the information and asked to investigate the crime then fine, let it happen.

The problem with this is it was 36 years ago. The accuser has no idea where, when and I think that she convinced herself of who and that is all she has.
What may have happened at a teenage drinking party could have been misconstrued and altered in the mind over 36 years.
Who can't imagine a drunken 17 year old preppy jock Kavanaugh messing with the girls? Teens do that kind of stuff all the time and fooling around may have been misinterpreted by Ford as an attempted rape.
There are so many holes in her story.
I don't know what the FBI can possibly find, maybe if they were aware of this when Feinstein was they would have had more time to investigate?

Just saw Bill Gavin former Asst. Dir. FBI speaking about some of this. He said no way the FBI can do anything worth while in a week and once people start saying they won't comment beyond statements they've already issued, then subpoenas will need to be issued and everything will drag on forever. On top of that, the FBI only issues 302s and it still goes back to the Committee for review and final judgement.
Do you ignore your daughter, wife or sister too when they say they have been sexually assaulted? Or do you tell them you are full of sh%t, quit asking for it and/or go back to the kitchen?
That seems to be exactly what liberal democrats do, you aren't conveniently forgetting what started the entire "metoo" movement are you? Or how liberals have spent YEARS treating women who accuse democrats? Or are only women who accuse Republicans supposed to be believed?

NONE of the women accusing Kavanaugh in any way meet any definition of credible. I'm sure that won't stop "the resistance" from fabricating more of them over the next week.
