A religion that acts like the world is ending because some football player kneels for the national anthem yet is apathetic towards or even supportive of brown-skinned CHILDREN being imprisoned at the border is a morally bankrupt religion.

That was mankind. Mankind is flawed in every way. That was not in the name of Jesus even though some Christians will use Christianity for their own flawed agenda just as humans use many things to their agenda including politics and abuse. Christians have a personal relationship with their maker. They don't define ALL human interaction on the bases of Christianity. If we did, none of us would have any hope or promise that is found in his word.

European people have their own take on the Christian religion, Protestantism and Catholicism basically originated in Europe. Technically even Jesus was under the Roman empire.
