Even though Obama said Kanye was jackass, he still would have never let Mr. West humiliate himself for his own selfishness. I don't think Trump feels comfortable around intelligent, strong, articulate, African American men. All of his African Americans have got to have street cred. Even Ben Carson came up with a street cred story to ingratiate himself with Trump.

There was a time in Politics when white Republicans were clamoring to be seen in the company of distinguished "race men" as they were called, like Frederick Douglas, George Washington Carver, or Booker T Washington. Trump has Kanye. I remember the clip of Kanye walking into a pole and he cursed the pole like an idiot.

I love how much Republicans are jumping to the defense of Kanye against these racist Blacks. That just proves they recognize the everyday racism coming out of their mouths, and just choose to play dumb. That's just more evidence that Republicans know they are the party of racists.

I don’t know much about West but what makes him an expert, has he been an outspoken leader for underprivileged in the past. Taylor Swift just tossed her support to one candidate in her state and was criticized heavily but West sits in the Oval office for 40 minutes offering his opinion for everything under the sun. I think there are more knowledgeable people than West.

What plantation did Kanye escape from since he says he has never voted or even voted for Trump?

Meh. They like the fact that he doesn't lick the a$$ of Hollywood. I've never liked West. BFD, he will never know me & he will never care about my opinion of him. I don't like Trump either. Another BFD, I like some of the things he's getting done, my opinion of him is irrelevant. Same with West. I've always thought he was a bombastic egomaniac. Today I listened to what he had to say. He's talking business, pure and not so simple. Good for him.

If he's sincere about putting thousands within his culture to work, if he is as driven as he says he is about revitalizing his home town, then I can get behind that 1000% and not give a squat that the left and the majority of blacks are beating him down for it. Thankfully, he doesn't give a squat either. Your opinion is part of a very loud, very vocal, hypocritical and bigoted minority of closed minded leftists....so.......meh.

Liberal. The irony of that word never fails to make me smile.
