Barbra Streisand is once again thinking about leaving the United States for political reasons.

In a Tuesday interview with The New York Times, the 76-year-old star admitted that she's considering moving to Canada if the Democrats don't win a majority in the House of Representatives in the midterm elections next week.

"I want to sleep nights, if we take the House I’ll be able to sleep a little bit better," Streisand told the outlet, adding that if they don't take control she's been "thinking about" a potential move.

Proving again her racist nature to move to a more lilly white country....why not Venezuela or the Congo?

Wait?
She was suppose to be there already, as with 3/4 of Hollywood, after Trump won and their TDS really kicked in.

She's in the 50% bracket.
That's nice she's not in the majority American bracket. She would be no worse off were she to move.

Excerpt: "And then there’s the USA. It’s hardly a surprise that in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis and the great recession, taxes are surprisingly, even shockingly, high. But that’s hardly news; the media in the USA, conservative and otherwise, have been hammering home how overtaxed Americans are. And they’re right.
All in all, Canada has a very competitive tax system that only Australia, and arguably New Zealand and perhaps Chile, can compare with. And when it comes to attracting talented workers from around the globe, that doesn’t hurt."

and...…. we don't pay an additional minimum $10k for our healthcare.

Meanwhile:
median income of American as of 2015/16 $59,039.00
median income of Canadians as of 2015 = $70,336.00

Paradise awaits for some.

I won't like it either, but I also don't see why Canada, or any other country, would want a "refugee" from a developed country who is just miffed about politics, however unsavory the ruling party.

If I had a country, I would want fighters, not flee-ers.

Canada is a great country but those number you posted on Canadian median income just appear to be made up, there's nothing I've found to back them up. Actually, people in the USA take home about 45% more at $44K/yr in the USA and $29K/yr in Canada.

What has Canada done to deserve this.

Is this retaliation for Jusin Bieber and Bryan Adams.

It's not unusual for an American to assume they have exclusive rights to making things up as the poster I was responding to: You didn't look very hard; those figures come from the most recent government census results taken in BOTH countries.

Canada: https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/dail...70913a-eng.htm $70,336.00

U.S.: https://www.businessinsider.com/us-c...-income-2017-9 $59,039.00
