It is the same approach to health care. The point is not to fix the problem, the question is how to manage the problem while making a profit. Health care is not about making people healthy and keeping them from becoming sick and taking medicine. It is about taking advantage of the situation to make a business out of it. Same with illegal immigration. The disagreement is on the business part. Building a wall creates profits only for construction companies [and hiring illegal immigrants to do the actual work]; very short sighted from the business point of view. Adding technology, detention centers, guards, etc. creates profits and jobs.
In conclusion, neither side is about ending illegal immigration because cheap labor is desired by the business interest politicians represent.

As I watch the debate about the building of the wall I wonder if those who oppose it actually know that? I watch the Chuck and Nancy laugh and joke and hold hostage good and knowing Americans.

Honestly, to my mind, I cannot fathom how any person would not vote to support a barrier to prevent this and I am not seeking any answers.
