look at the art and engineering that has come from mother Russia and compare it to most of Asia. The Asian countries seem to be very good at re-engineering things, but the the creations that have historically came from Russia over the last 300 years Trumps anything that has come from Japan, China or any other East Asian country. It could be argued that some races tend to be more creative than others. Having a genius IQ is only one aspect of innovators like Da Vinci, Einstein, or Tesla. It's their creativity that separates them from other geniuses. For whatever reason, there seems to be more of these types of innovators that are of European ancestor than any other people.
Chinese invented gunpowder - and guns to an extent. They invented the crossbow 1000 years before it was big time in Europe.
They melted and cast iron LONG before anyone else did...even made steel and other compounds.
I didn't learn this in school or industry. I was told the England did most of the metal casting invention.....but it's not even close.
The accomplishments of Russia are frankly largely what they stole or borrowed from everyone else around them (or bought, or traded). The Kochs built out Uncle Joes' Refineries.
They didn't even build their nukes...stole that tech too.

There is an easier method to rank them, tho. They have almost unlimited amount of the best resources on the planet - a long history and the largest land mass on the planet. They have 150 million people......
And they have a GDP of less than 11K per person.
The real question here is - did the history you read in school teach about the chinese iron casting, crossbow and other major technologies from Asia? Are more books, movies, myths and legends taught to us which cement this?

A large part of Bolivia's population is of indigenous background and living in the high elevation regions. Being short is an adaptation to the high altitude (10,000 ft and higher). Another factor is nutrition. Bolivia being a poor country. There are many who do not get the proper nutrition when young. Bolivia and Peru have the highest prevalence of stunted growth in South America. Bolivia has gotten better in recent years in terms of reducing stunted growth. Something else. Bolivians tend to be taller in the eastern lowland regions of the country as oppose to the Altiplano region.
In Bosnia, the diet is much more meat-based. Vegetables and potatoes are also a big part of the Bosnian diet. Compared to Bolivia, the average Bosnian has better access to nutrition. However, the average height for Bosnians varies by regions. The southern and western regions (Sarajevo, Mostar, and some mountainous areas, although Bosnia doesn't have regions nearly as high in elevation as Bolivia does) of Bosnia have taller people than the far north of the country.

Almost every time I watch a sporting event I hear about various athletes pedigrees.
How their dad played pro-sports, their mom was an olympian, their brother plays for some pro team etc.
They talk about inheriting size, athletic talent, reflexes etc. etc. etc.
But the fundamental ability of the brain to be able to process things quickly etc. is considered racist quackery lol.
The problem is that years ago (and to this day) racists latched on to the topic and poisoned it with hate and overly broad generalizations generally linked to pigment. Especially considering that at the time they tried to excuse away lack of opportunity for education as not being the reason for lower outcomes.

And you just mention cast iron, iron working itself predates China's casting by a couple thousand years originating in Mesopotamia and spreading from there into Europe. European and Chinese crossbows appeared at the same time, there is no evidence one originated from the other at this time, since they are pretty different in the way they function.

Yikes, I don't even know where to start with this post. The invention of blackpowder, the crossbow, or the Ak-47 belong nowhere in a conversation regarding groundbreaking human advancements in the arts and sciences.
No, the Soviets did not steal all of their advancements in the world of physics, and the Russian people have arguably contributed more to the field of mathematics, behavioral science, and genetics than other people over the last few centuries.
You missed the point of my post in that far more major human advancements in the arts and sciences have come from Europe than any other part of the world. Asia has no equals to minds like Isaac Newton, Leonardo da Vinci, Nikola Tesla etc because of the creativity factor of these types of geniuses despite having statistically more intelligent populations. That was my point. Simply having an above average IQ doesn't lead to groundbreaking innovation.

One could argue that European science also gave us global warming, nuclear weapons and runaway population of humans.
Intelligence has many axes along which it can be measured. I tend to put more emphasis on the axis that is the ability to live more harmoniously with the rest of the life on earth. That is not an European trait.
And the conservatives around here try to claim that republicans aren't racist. Just admit that you belong to the new Apartheid Party, North American branch and be done with it already.

James Watson, Francis Crick, and Rosalind Franklin discovered the double helix structure of DNA. Spoiler Alert: No difference in the structure of white DNA vs black DNA was ever found - not by Watson, et al and not by any other scientists either. For their work on this project, James Watson and Francis Crick won the Nobel Prize. No one has taken away that prestigious award, although Watson's lab has stripped him of some lessor citations. LINK
