That's pretty damning if true.

Yeah, I don't get the hate either.

Some men are horrible people, and we should no longer give them the excuse that "boys will be boys". I can only think of one reason why men would be offended by the suggestion that we should start calling out and holding those men who harrass others (verbally, sexually, or physically) accountable for their actions.

You can't be serious. Where have you been for the last 100 years?

Advertising has been telling women how to live their lives probably since advertising began. Your husband will love you more if you wash his shirts with Wisk. Men will be attracted to you because you're blonde. Your kids will love you more if you buy Jif. You'll be on his mind if you drink Tab. You'll feel more feminine if you use Tampax.

Have a happy period!
The old Mad Men era sexist ads did it to women but a lot of it was tongue and cheek. If, right now in 2019, ads targeted women as people of bad character if they didn't behave a certain way, it really would be a problem.

Hahaha... You're not serious, right?

Basically every single commercial aimed at women is telling us how to be better women.

How to take better care of the house, how to better feed our families, how we're all supposed to be the perfect mother, wife, housekeeper, cook, etc... All while also working, and having perfectly smooth complexion and flawless makeup...

And be sexy, but you know, not too sexy or you'll get a bad reputation. But if you're not sexy enough, you're a prude who doesn't know how to have fun.

Women can't have any body hair. We must all shave our hairless legs and underarms before hair has the chance to grow. Hair on women is icky! Don't let anyone ever know you're a mammal who groes hair! The only hair people should see are your perfectly shaped eyebrows and long, thick golden hair without a trace of grey hair.

Oh, how hilarious to think women are never told by the media how to behavior.

It’s not anyone else’s job to hold someone they don’t know accountable unless they are a manager or law enforcement officer. Why do you think so?

Those women are closet lesbians. And what they think matters not to me.

Hypocrites, liars, and thieves. The only reason this ad exists is because they think it will bring in more business than it will lose
I don’t see what one has to do with the other but hey, whatever. Seems an extreme response to an advertisement.

I never said anything about strangers, and neither did the ad.

If you're fine with your brothers, sons, friends, coworkers, etc... acting like complete a-holes, then that's you. But that type of behavior is becoming less and less accepted in society. It's better they hear from a trusted friend or family member that they are being inappropriate instead of their actions being esculated to their bosses, HR, or even the police.

1) large corporations are by LAW responsible to shareholders first...there can NEVER be any such thing as a "Leftwing" corporation

2) i have to go through 25 posts to find one that's not "grumbling" ...there is a school of thought that say any publicity is "good" publicity and it seems to be working lol!!

1) How the left wing advertising business proves how clueless they are about real men who are fathers and husbands.
