The same people saying the usa should stay out of Venezuela are probably the same ones who will be complaining about Venezuelan refugees seeking asylum here.

Not when you have Chevron at stake like Rubio stated you know we've sold out solds to those oil companies. Beisdes the troops are likely getting deployed to Columbia, and held there just in case Maduro tried to take our oil.
Goes without saying. I cannot imagine any reason to do so. I don't care how much oil they have. We have oil, others have oil.
I also cannot think of any American intervention in Latin America that ever ended up well. Even if it was beneficial, paranoia, conspiracy, and bruised feelings would taint it.
Finally, this is the system the Venezuelans wanted. Let them deal with it. I cannot imagine how there is anyone left in 2019 who thinks heavy handed Socialism works, but one find them, even in the halls of Congress.
