Killing is killing. For food, or for pleasure, you're still killing an animal to survive. Anyone who uses the above argument is trying to justify their eating animals saying it's ok because [put religious or biblical, EXCUSE here].
How did theis become a thread for PETA? Didn't realize I had been posting on a vegan thread....

I'm not vegan. I eat meat. Like 5 steaks a day. And bbq like 10 chickens worth of drumsticks every weekend.
I was replying regarding THESE posts which led to that:
No, actually meat eaters do kill to eat. And we are omnivorous, meaning we eat both vegetable products and meat products.
Unlike perhaps you, the rest of us do not kill other humans for food thus the argument is unfounded.
AND
That is an absolutely ridiculous argument.

By the way if you didn't get it... To put it straight.... Don't eat animals and then complain about abortions. There's no excuse you can possibly give to justify killing animals then complaining about abortions. Yes, I love meat. And yes, I know we kill animals so that I may eat my meat. But then I don't go around bashing pro-choice people either.
Seeing that it's devolved into equating human life with hamburgers, that might not be a bad idea.
Misunderstood. Not "hamburgers"... But killing and justification. There's a deeper meaning to things... Sorry, it's not so black and white as to just say someone's talking about hamburgers.
Oh, and the hypocracy of some people... Yeah. Add that in.

Yes. I forgot about that. It is quite ignorant for people to be judgmental of others and bias of an entire group without knowing each individual. How could I forget that one.
