The remaining 25 percent committed a variety of other criminal offenses, including fraud, weapons charges, racketeering, and sexual crimes. Clearly, the large population of aliens in BOP custody cannot simply be explained away by immigration crimes."
U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) " Another 4,665 aliens (24 percent) were held for crimes related to drug trafficking.
Sixty-eight percent (13,449) of the aliens were apprehended in the Southwest region of the United States."

Over 250,000 criminal aliens were booked in Texas local jails between June 2011 and April 2018. These individuals were charged with more than 663,000 offenses, including:

Currently liberals still control the Supreme Court as we've seen with the gay marriage decision and with the recent ruling against Louisiana's pro-life laws in favor of unfettered abortion. A Court that supports unfettered abortion will also support illegal immigration.
The state of emergency, which will be legally challenged, might make sense after we are able to appoint another one of our own to the Supreme Court, but not at the current moment when the liberals still dominate the court.

Cant call an national emergency and infringe on rights of the people.. Its been discussed already, its the 2A, cant be infringed on. General Clause in Constitution allows this national emergency to go forward...
Come on and look at how many times Obama, Clinton, Bush, Reagan and Bush Jr declared National Emergencys. And not one liberal cried foul...
Anything is fair game in a national emergency even putting honest citizens in jail and confiscating their property.

Trump spent the past few years praising dictators and sneering at legitimately elected world leaders. I'm sorry to say that wasn't just trolling or idle bluster. He just got totally checkmated by the Democrats and the complicit GOP "negotiators" who are almost as opposed to border security for different reasons. The idiot signed a bill that restricts building the wall on private lands in the Rio Grande Valley where he first has to invoke imminent domain and get the consent of the Democratic-controlled local governments. He can invoke all the emergency powers he wants, but he literally just agreed to build virtually NOTHING.
Not only that but the bill he signed makes ANY ADULT IN ANY HOUSEHOLD SPONSORING AN UNACCOMPANIED MINOR IMMUNE FROM DEPORTATION. In other words, he just issued an open invitation to traffic minors into the United States to use as deportation shields.
Every single adviser who told him to sign this bill should be fired and he should be primaried in 2020 by someone who knows what the hell they're doing.
I guess time will tell. There are well over 30 national emergency's still in effect. Donald isnt an idiot, and I guarantee this move was well thought out.. Only Libs dont see a rope-a-dope
