Per a January 2019 DHS report: Over 60% of illegal aliens apprehended at the border now are family units and unaccompanied children. This does not include single men attempting to apply for asylum.

According to DHS:
Quote:
Misguided court decisions and outdated laws have made it easier for illegal aliens to enter and remain in the U.S. if they are adults who arrive with children, unaccompanied alien children, or individuals who fraudulently claim asylum. As a result, DHS continues to see huge numbers of illegal migrants and a dramatic shift in the demographics of aliens traveling to the border, both in terms of nationality and type of aliens- from a demographic who could be quickly removed when they had no legal right to stay to one that cannot be detained and timely removed. https://www.dhs.gov/news/2019/01/24/...ion-protocols#
Trump's declared a national emergency because of "misguided court decisions and outdated laws?" He's got us all protected, for sure.

Enough already.

Who is this "you" nonsense? No one I know invited any illegals into this country. Do you go around inviting illegals to come to Canada?

Poor Dane. You naively think that democrat senators are doing the right thing. How precious!/sarcasm.

Neither party is looking out for Americans. They aren't looking out for you either.

Wrong. Trump is collecting money from Mexico through tariffs. New Tariffs from Canada, Mexico, the European Union and others have raised $3.6 billion in their first nine months, and revenues for the last two months are likely to push that figure up to $4.6 billion.

He also said that HE would pay for it if no one else would help or if Congress would not give the ok.

I am no fan of the wall and detest Trump, but let's face facts he isn't the first to do it nor the most abusive of the use of National Emergency. This from an obviously biased source.

Fact Obama spent over half the asking price of the wall just to build a website, for a very expensive poorly executed law. The crickets were chirping.

I would say take the money from the defense budget and build the wall. Trim some pork out of that budget to pay for the wall pork.

Better still make E-Verify the law of the land for all employers, landlords, schools, hospital and government agencies. Require all by law to report violators. Put teeth into those laws.
Hey look another person who cant tell the difference between apples and bicycles.

How is it that people just cannot understand that tariffs are taxes on ourselves?

Neither Mexico nor Mexican companies are paying these taxes/tariffs. American consumers are.

What is so difficult about this concept?
