Talking Emergency!

tRump in El Paso, Monday Feb 11:

"Drugs! MS-13! Human trafficking! They're coming to take over your strip malls and mow your lawns! Border crisis! Invasion!"

Border communities:

"There's no crisis here."

tRump in DC, Friday Feb15:

"I don't need to do this. But I'm gonna make a fake nat'l emergency declaration. Now, outta my way. I gotta get to the gold club."

Directing the crisis.

That was unreal. He mumbled that Homeland Security told him differently, saying something like "I know better." Drug data were the topic. Where does Trump think the data originates? Those are DEA databases that Homeland Security accesses.

He did some kind of sing-song rap about the legal process that would be underway (straight outta the mouth of Hannity).

In short, that was one of the most idiotic press conferences I have ever seen.
It's like watching a train wreck.

Maybe he's turned it into some sort of competition where he hopes to humiliate Acosta.

More ... Trump's pretty much admitting that in declaring a national emergency he was relying on the wrong data, whatever he maintains Homeland Security "told" him.

Trump outright said "I don't believe that" to the 90% POE drug entry data. That's a tacit admission the figure is so high one might question the need for a wall.

Whatever he or someone might allege about DEA data collection procedures, it appears to be the best information available.

Trump's opened the door to a Constitutional challenge which, in turn, opens the door to an examination whether or not there is a crisis.

To publicly admit you're not relying on or outright dismissing official Government statistics is a

See unless you can show us more your story is just a story...ie noise. Let be frank. You are telling us that someone who supports Trump is supporting Trump..

You are not telling that a neutral or balanced source told you this but instead a source who has a well known agenda.....

You won't see this on CNN and MSNBC. Trump visited BP in McAllen and the Chief of that sector said they need help. I believe it's in the first 5 minutes or so.

It may be fine with you that your southern neighbors have their property seized by the Federal government.

They, however, beg to differ. The Secure Fence Act of 2006, as amended mandates that Homeland Security consult local officials, property owners, and Indian trips in fence placement.

THIS ^^^ is what the bipartisan committee did when they brought in those who live on and police the border.

Trump, of course, wants to throw all that out.

It's not simply about gun violence at the hands of illegals, they kill Americans with vehicles, knives, fists, etc. They shouldn't be here in the first place.

Thoughts and prayers. Also, may trump throw in the paper towels as well. BTW, too soon to make someone's death political.

You act like that ^^^^^ wouldn't happen anyway. Trump did what he had to do to protect this country, to hell with the politics. He's not a politician and that is why D.C. is in a constant uproar; they can't control him .
