If a President has a constitutional right to fire Comey for ANY REASON, it doesn't matter why he fired him. it was a legal act....that didn't stop the investigation. Comey couldn't be trusted running the FBI or doing the investigation.

Obstruction is what Nixon and Clinton did....they told others to lie and gave them hush money and jobs and destroy evidence during an investigation. The constitution doesn't give the President that right to break the law but it gives him the right to fired the Director of the FBI and the AG for any reason, especially if he leaks classified information to the press or he doesn't like how he is doing his job.
Yeah, he said that - after he asked Comey to back off the investigation of Flynn, and he ORDERED Rosenstein to draft a letter recommending that Comey be fired, then he told the Russians that firing Comey relieved great pressure.

Trump did all that, YOU may choose not to believe that, in the final analysis, Trump got away with it, but the voters will make up their OWN minds about it all - ESPECIALLY if the Administration blocks or heavily redacts the whole report - so the Russia story is FAR from done.

Obamacare Hits Highs In Popularity And Profits
https://www.forbes.com/sites/bruceja.../#5ac02fefadfa

McCarthy has complained privately to donors that the last GOP attempt to gut Obamacare — including its most popular provisions, such as protections for preexisting conditions — was the main reason the party lost at least 40 House seats in last year’s midterm elections. House Republicans privately worry it will cripple their attempts to reclaim the chamber and could even cost them additional seats in 2020, though few will admit so publicly because they fear Trump’s ire.

that's your opinion.......my premiums went up over 65% after Obamacare kicked in.

if you go by the deficit, every President has raised it, including Obama. Did he lie on the deficit and Obamacare when he said it would cut my premiums and I could keep my plan and doctor if I wanted? or you have a double standard on lying. It's acceptable when your side does it.

Every President in the WH loses seats in their first midterms. Clinton lost seats 53 seats and Obama lost 63 seats and 6 Senate seats in 2010.........The Russian hysteria from the media and Democrats didn't help Trump in the first 2 years and the reason he lost seats, it wasn't because of the economy. Ryan was a bad speaker and didn't get much done, another reason why GOP lost control. Now that the Russian hoax is over and the Dems in control of the house and the fact they have to govern and defend their ideas it's going to be different going in 2020.

Now that the Russia hysteria is a hoax, we shall see in 2020 how it plays out.

stop quoting Wikipedia word for word.

Trump telling Comey to take it easy on Flynn is NOT obstruction. Just like Obama telling Lynch to take it easy on Hillary (which she did) is not Obstruction.

Trump never "ORDERED" Rosenstein to draft a letter recommending that Comey be fired. Rosenstein named Mueller as a S.C. so that kills your myth for obstruction.

After his dismissal, Comey publicly testified to the Congress that he told Trump, on three occasions, that he was not personally under investigation in the counterintelligence probe. Trump asked him to say it in public because of the false leaks in the news that were put out by Comey and others were putting a cloud in his administration to govern and Trump as President deal with Russia and the country.....Comey didn't and that's one of the reasons he fired Comey. A legal act.

at the end Trump was right and Comey wrong......try again!

^^^^ another sore loser....you want to keep doubling down on collusion? ......if it's not a hoax, then why Mueller didn't indict 1 person of colluding with Russia.....not even a low post or middle person in the Trump camp. Trump did it by himself with no help...lol

Wrong.

Trump was simply slimy enough to get away with it in regards to the law,
In the court of public opinion - well, we'll have to see come election time.

I can wait.

I didn't lose anything.
AMERICA lost.
Trump asked Russia for help on LIVE TV - and Russia responded by attacking Hillary's server WITHIN MINUTES.
How is that not collusion?

Trump colluded. Trump Conspired. He simply got away with it.

Interesting and I don’t think Trumps appointment should be the decision maker on obstruction.

wrong? you can't even debate the law or facts.......Comey publicly testified to the Congress that he told Trump, on three occasions, that he was NOT personally under investigation in the counterintelligence probe. All that Trump asked him to was make it public because of the leaks to the media. Comey refused and instead he was leaking classified information to the media with McCabe. That's why both were FIRED.

Trump has the constitutional right to fired Comey, especially when he asked him to make it public what Comey told him and he refused.

the leaks to the media by Comey and McCabe were a big cloud and made it harder for Trump to govern and deal with Russia and the country. If you can't see that Comey and McCabe had to go then you are a political hack.
