your social Democracies don't really do centrally planned economies.


there is a vast difference between the Nordic Social Democracies and American Democratic Socialists.

It does, actually. The two words refer to two different things.

Democratic = System of government where the citizens exercise power by voting

Socialism = Economic model

Countries which are democratic socialists became socialist via democratic elections as opposed to revolution (like USSR or Cuba).

Exactly, and I wonder how Bernie does not know the difference, and keeps using the wrong terms.

AOC does not know the difference either, but that does not surprise me.

No, neither promotes the socialism as in government taking over means of production, because that defines socialism.

Of course. Who suggested otherwise? I'm suggesting we need to emulate some of their policies. Not sure where the defensiveness is coming from. I took your correction of my wrong terminology to heart.
