Share your political rags to riches of any noteworthy changes in your life and family.

As a youth I was a strong conservative, but evolved more middle of road as the years went by due to living in california and working in a diverse environment.

The biggest change I've experienced so far is paying more taxes this year as a result in Trumps change in the RE tax / state tax deduction, capped at $10,000.

Share your stories! Democrats or any other parties share your stories too if you wish.

This ^^^ is a problem

The OP is one of the problems in this nation. People invest so much power in the president, that they look to the president to change their lives for them. That's not the way this should work. Whoever the president is should not make my life more complicated, easier or worse off.

The way this is supposed to work, is whoever we elect as president, our lives should not be impacted at all. All our federal government is supposed to do, is protect the nation and ensure our Rights and freedoms are not trampled on, so we can live our lives as we see fit.

You sure none of this would have happened anyway? You sure your loved ones succeed in spite of him and not because of him??
I'm pretty wary of posters that claim they were Not so well off, then come Nov 2016 They were fast tracked to the City Data Billionaires Club.
I find it just not very believable that one man in such a relatively short time turned all these paupers into royalty

Remember when?

I agree with you 100%, the reason I started this thread was curiosity on how some of Trumps base, those that were struggling, how they have fared since the election. As JFK once said "ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country" I've worked hard my entire life. Success comes from within.

And as usual you have zero evidence to support your claims.

All I would expect from a president is to push for those things the federal government can do, to help promote economic growth, and investment. Foreign investment in US businesses has increased dramatically since Trump has been president.

When the economy prospers, the people will find their own pathway to success and growth, within it. It's not up to the president to try and micromanage our lives for us, to make our lives better, just give us the freedom to choose that for ourselves.

no real change but, I thank God Hillary did NOT make it. Otherwise we'd be on the road to Socialism or worse.
We are saved by Trump for awhile and more when he is re-elected. The American voter CANNOT be so stupid that they can't
see through the Democrat agenda, drive the United States into the ground............... and go back to the horse and carriage .....
