Quite frankly, I just don't get the fascination from the woman's perspective. Easy to slip on? Think they are flattering? Showing off their body? Sexually attracting? Flaunting their body? Please fill in the blank for me, cause I just don't get it, and am turned off generally by the image.
You are right, only a small percentage of women can 'pull off' leggings and look good in them.

Its the same way with guys though too, how many of us can pull off 'tight fitting' compression shirts and look good...NOT many!

Well its not to flip your switch.
I'm not particularly svelte either but often wear leggings because they are comfortable. I normally wear jeans but they are hot and restrictive, at certain times more than others they can be uncomfortable. They are also a littler dressier. Of course I wear them with tops that cover my big can. And that is how most of the women I see wear them. Even the young, svelte ones.

Occasionally I have seen fit young women wear leggings with very short tops. I just think to myself, "dang she really rocks those leggings". Occasionally I see out of shape larger women were leggings with a short top and think to myself "that look isn't flattering on you".

So, you're a jerk and a lout, when you're not pretending otherwise in front of your family, and appear to be proud of it. Noted.

Live in a town with three colleges/universities, including the primary state university. Leggings are rampant, usually worn by age-appropriate young women. Don't ogle, but do notice at grocery stores, outdoor art fairs, etc. I would never dream of doing anything more, considering my Social Security-eligible age.

The Creator made such young women attractive for the same reason she made flowers colorfully beautiful.

Spring is here, and there'll be a shift to shorts and t-shirts.

While I'm a tolerant person and have several Muslim friends, I am glad I do not live in a place subject to Sharia law.
