And when the black mayor wants an "all black meeting"....then you would have an argument. Right now we are not talking about the behavior of the Mayor (has not been elected)....we are talking about the black community taking responsibility to elect a black candidate that will be best for black people.
So there must be a secret meeting of potential candidates away from the prying eyes of ypipo. Imagine the outcry if a group of whites insisted on only reporters of pallor attending.
Well it IS a fact that blacks don't pay much in taxes, AND they consume a disproportionate percentage of the services that are supported by taxes, so net net that's where the common perception of them as a drain on society comes from.
Its always been this way and it is not likely to change.
Well...it's hard to pay a lot in taxes when you make less and are unemployed more. Discrimination resulted in less wealth and less income. I mean....duh...you have to have something to be taxed. Whites pay more taxes BECAUSE YOU GOT MORE INCOME AND WEALTH. If you want blacks to pay more taxes...then share the dam wealth.

The "white press" could potentially spin what was being said....for propaganda. Again, why do whites need to be there if they want black people to solve the problems in the black community? Why do you need to be there? How would it help black people solve black peoples problems?
Maybe because the mayor represents ALL the people regardless of color? If this was a meeting to specifically discuss fixing issues in the black community, then fine. But, it wasn’t. It was a meeting to discuss mayoral candidates and as such anyone they would eventually represent should have been welcomed.

Well....if you go to the emergency room with a sprained ankle at the same time a person comes in with bad chest pains......it's not about "fairness" its about URGENCY. Who needs the attention the most. You seem to act like there was no history and no difference in the condition of blacks and whites to warrant a different behavior and or treatment.
If we were in the same condition......your argument would be totally valid. One leg is broken.....but the other leg don't want the broke leg to get any "special treatment"....which would result in a permanent limp for the body. That is America. There will always be egregious racial inequality (the limp) because whites refuse to give blacks the special attention (repair) that is needed to heal. Maybe that leg just wants to always be in a SUPERIOR condition.
Well...in the interest of blacks taking responsibility for blacks....I am sure the "spin" would be in the interest of black people.....unless we let Jesse Lee Peterson in as a reporter.
