Switzerland is a good example of a diverse nation. They speak four different languages, and 25% of their population is foreign born. They are doing just fine.

Are you capable of understanding how stupid your statement is?
So, according to you, people outside a bubble of like minded people are assumed to not seek knowledge?
Perhaps you should be asking yourself the question you ask.
I have not read a simple reply to your OP, but I'd bet that many liberals/leftist are aghast at you even bringing up such a non-PC subject.
Lets assume your general view is accurate as well, you are likely being called a ___ist or _____phobe for stating facts, because the left is "triggered" by such comments.
One wonders if Bernie and others will ever point out how the so called "socialist countries" they hold up as examples of Utopia, will ever note their racial/ethnic homogeneity?
`
Just as one wonders where the countries are that practice NON Universal Health Care...and how well they are doing?
Or asking where the countries with Anarchist or Libertarian Government are/were and how well they are doing???
Many unanswered questions here. But, in a sense, our state of MA as well as HI (two states which have relatively high incomes, life spans, universal health care, etc.) ARE quite diverse.
Are all white people at fault because most spectacular mass shootings are planned and executes by white males?
no and no one is saying crimes are the fault of ALL black people so nice strawman. it is the fault of those people committing the crime. it is not society's fault or some slave owner from 200 years ago's fault
The prerequisite for not valuing diversity is having a superiority complex. What is the value of others if they are inferior? They can't teach you anything and will only weigh you down.
It does not require you to feel superior, it only requires you to not value it.
My nephew is always wanting to tell me some obscure fact he learned about something that I simply don't give a **** about. I try to be respectful and listen to him, but I don't care.
He played Yu-Gi-Oh for years, and he kept trying to explain to me the different cards, decks, and other aspects of the game. But it just doesn't interest me.
I suppose if I'm more interested in video games than Yu-Gi-Oh then I think video games are superior. But that is a silly way to think about it.

You're obviously ignorant of what life is like on Mangoli Island, Indonesia, but so what? And while you might learn a lot, do you really want your entire neighborhood to be Afghani-Muslims?
Sitting around calling everything ignorance, is stupid.
But, unless you know those things and/or people, HOW would you know whether they're worth knowing or not?
Sounds to me like looking at the covers and judging books.
I often hear liberals tout "diversity" as being a wonderful goal that is obviously advantageous to everyone. The term "diversity" has been highjacked from genetics, in which genetic diversity is favorable for adaptation, and applied to social interractions with the presumption that it provides the obvious benefit seen in evolution.
Liberals don't even know what diversity is or want true diversity. They think diversity is a bunch of kooky college kids and other liberals who agree with them. They think Madison, Wisconsin is diverse, for example.
But, unless you know those things and/or people, HOW would you know whether they're worth knowing or not?
Regardless, saying that since you know something that I don't know, that I'm ignorant, is a ridiculous way of thinking about the world. And most people have pretty good intuitions about what is worth knowing, and what isn't.

Switzerland is one of the least "diverse" nations on the planet. The majority of immigrants are from Germany, France, and Italy, although they have taken in Iraqi refugees.
They owe a good deal of their success to their lack of diversity.

Except of course I said no such thing, but I will say having no desire to learn new things isn't what brought man out of the stone age.
