Iran cannot attack Israel for the exact same reason Israel cannot attack Iran. It's called "the Laws of Physics."
Iran can only use proxies in Syria and Lebanon to attack Israel.
Since Israel cannot attack Iran, it uses the US as a proxy.

I wonder if the U.S. Air Force has installed the new Heavy Release Capability (HRC) pylons onto the the B-52H bombers. These HD pylons would allow the BUFFs to carry multiple 20,000-pound class weapons - that means any bomb or missile the service currently has in inventory, and could be a prelude to integrating new weapons, such as air-launched hypersonic cruise missiles, onto the bombers in the future.
Once the USAF has established air superiority and neutralized Iran's air defenses, the BUFFS could then lumber in and use these truly awesome weapons to penetrate and destroy Iran's fortified underground nuclear industry.
And WaPo, like many other US media outlets, are in bed with China, Iran, and North Korea. Every single article on that site is anti-Trump, pro-China, pro-Iran, and pro-North Korea.
Iran is sinking into the ground, not much hope left.

What other country on earth is as an aggressive belligerent like the U.S.?
