Trump is a "hurray for me, *********" New Yorker. I don't think all the votes against him in New York and New Jersey was just because they were liberals. They all knew what he could do.

I didn't say re-elected. I referred to 'sitting presidents' who ran and lost. Ford was sitting president in 1976 after Nixon resigned. If you do take out Ford, though, the point is even stronger.

Evangelicals believe they are a "silent majority" so that's why despite the math, they think Trump has it in the bag. They might be right.
