Everyone from about 10 years old or earlier knows that having sex can make babies. Everyone knows what condoms are for. Everyone knows what birth control pills are for. I would wager that the majority of women with an unwanted pregnancy also has a high end cellphone. They can afford the phone but not birth control?
I see. Up to the woman. Why aren't the men taking the precaution to prevent a pregnancy? It's expected the woman to do this and this misogynistic attitude is clear just by the way it's talked about. Yes she's the one who will get pregnant, but it's not like a man isn't involved in making that happen.
Of course, but I think GOP would rather keep it, because it is a goose which lays golden political eggs, and it would be foolish to kill it.
However, if people have been donating to Republicans since they were young because they said they are pro-life and now decades later abortion still isn't banned they might start thinking they have only been taken for a ride.
Really, SCOTUS will probably go the path of least resistance and say (1) Roe v Wade stands and (2) Alabama has gone too far.
If you want to end abortion, you need to push the bounds of what Roe v Wade will allow sufficient to get enough of SCOTUS to agree that the law didn’t go too far

She also can obligate him to either take protection, or not have sex with him if he fails to comply.
To get pregnant w/o wanting to, with so many options to avoid it available, is the ultimate in stupidity.

Interesting how people who want all abortion banned aren't worried about what to do with promiscuous men getting women pregnant, who get abortions.

They are not pro-life because they don't care about a young girl (legally a child) getting pregnant through rape or incest. And they don't care about a woman's life. Seriously, they do not care.
If there's a fertilized egg, even as a result of a felony crime, all that matters is the protection of the fertilized egg. To heck with the traumatized girl or anything else.

To paraphrase Richard Mourdock, if a woman gets pregnant after being raped, she should bear the child because it’s “God’s Will”.
What about the large proportion of women who are pro-life? They don't care about women? Do you realise that the proportion of males and females that are pro-life are about the same?
Why do we have to pretend this is men trying to control women? Wouldn't plain old honesty make for a better starting point to the conversation.
