Fortunately there's no need for consistency to be woke.

Fail - You are just applying today's standards to a previous time.

I'm not applying anything.

I'm merely pointing out that your moral equivalency was false.

Still a FAIL - Only when you apply your modern day morality to Jefferson's time. That you can't see the difference says it all.

And for the record, it is estimated that up to 40 million people live in slavery today.

From my perspective. It is up to the Black Feminist to denounce MLK, and other conscious woke black groups to do as such. If any groups of white people other races crique the wrong of MLK, you will be labled a racist. Its up to woke black groups to decide what he did was wrong and if his wrong outweighs the good. In Social Justice, one bad thing outweighs every single good thing that on person has contributed to society. Example look at Tony Robbins, and a couple of actions now destroyed his career of doing good for the lives of people. In today's religion of Social Justice. You have to be perfect on all ends. On slip up or mistake, no 3 strikes. 1 strike and your out. Sadly as adults. No one is not perfect.

Ralph Abernathy, a confidant and friend of MLK admitted that MLK use to cheat. and the FBI has recordings of him doing his deed. When the FBI makes it public, it will hurt the most vocal persons of Black American society. Mainly the black feminists, black academics, and the black pastor. These groups are small, but wield plenty of social power and influence in faith, academia and so forth. My best bet is to save MLK grace, and don't release such information to the public. MLK good outweighs his bad, even though he broke a vow to his wife, and his god Jesus in which he preaches for.

Why aren't you discussing the allegation that he stood by and laughed while a friend raped a woman??

That, more than the cheating (which at least involved consenting adults), is the real story here. As you've written, the fact that MLK was a cheating dog has long been known. That he stood by and laughed while someone was raped/was possibly an accomplice to rape has not been known.
