You have only to see the physical attacks by dems on someone that is conservativ to see who really is into tribalism.
When was the last time someone was assaulted by a conservative for wearing a hillary, obama, biden, shirt/hat, or had their car vandalized for having a beto sticker?
I see cars with old Obama-Biden or Hillary or Bernie stickers and they haven't been defaced.
Trump supporters have to keep a low profile for fear of triggering violent outbursts and attacks by the Deranged Demwits just because they are breathing the same air.
I wonder how moderate Dems (there are two or three ) feel, knowing that?
That all goes back to our caveman ancestors. Think about it: Since the stone age for hundreds of thousands of years in order to survive each tribe had to put themselves first. Think of it as a defense mechanism: If we constantly worried about people beyond our own tribe/social group, we'd constantly be miserable. Is it any wonder why all these SJWs, despite all the "good" they think they're doing, are always so angry and pissed off?

That's because conservatives believe a woman's place is in the home, cooking and cleaning and being submissive to her husband. They want laws and public policies to promote that.
They will say that God created male and female equal but they have separate roles, but as we learned through Jim Crow, separate but equal is always separate but never equal.
Humans are by their very nature tribal, it's embedded in our DNA and for very good reason. Either we survive or they do, us vs. them. If we don't win, we'll be destroyed. Whoever has the most loyal cohesion comes out on top and survives.
Depends on what you call tribal. To me it's about the different races and ethnic groups banding together and to hell with everyone else and there are far too many of those kind of people. I'm not a racially tribal person as I consider all Americans to be a member of my tribe regardless of their race or ethnicity. Too bad more people don't view it that way.
Conservatives are less tribal by nature, we all speak the same language, we all enjoy the same entertainment, we all enjoy the same type of work or hobbies. We are human, we don't seek to differentiate ourselves from our humanity like those on the left strive for. Community, family, religion, and country is more important than identity. We define identity only as American.
