I have never heard of this band but it seems that they have been a group since 1987 and the other day the Illinois state fair cancelled their show because the name of the band might offend some people. The reason given was it "appears to reflect racial sensitivity concerns.” UGH PC madness running amok.

They're a pretty good country band. Their name has nothing to do with the Confederacy. It has more to do with their genre (outlaw country) than anything. Go home, Illinois, you're drunk.

And also true. In Lake County (where I live) they cancelled the Civil War Reenactment due to security concerns and because Angelo Kyle, who is black and the Forest Preserve Board President, said it was racist.
Then it was back on, then off, and I don't know where it stands now.
I don't remember what year they changed the name, but there's a group based in Dallas that was called the Confederate Air Force, who restore and fly WWII aircraft. Some people whined about the name, so it was changed to Commemorative Air Force. Just doesn't have the same ring to it.

If one state has a problem the band has many other states to choose from.
The attempt to erase American History will only unite Americans against the socialist

Fair manager Josh Gross said of the removal of the band, “While every artists has a right to expression, we believe this decision is in the best interest of serving all of the people in our state.”
The SJW crowd has gone completely off the deep end at this point.
