The cop who put the 37-time offender in a chokehold will not be charged:

The city ME believes Mr. Garner died of an asthma attack due to the hold, but other experts suggest he died of a heart attack while resisting arrest. Either way, the cop won’t be charged.

Of course he won't be charged. Is anyone surprised? Cops are above the law in this country. They are allowed to kill citizens without consequence, as we see time and time and time again. Nothing changes. This decision is just more of the same.

Sell a couple loose cigarettes on the street corner (which he wasn't even doing) and get jumped by the cops.

Rape a girl and get compassion because you come from a "good family".

Perfect timing for a riot.

Yep.

Chokeholds are banned under police policy. Pantaleo maintained he used a legal takedown maneuver called the "seatbelt."

The medical examiner's office said a chokehold contributed to Garner's death.

But the OP believes that the cops are allowed to be judge jury and executioner.

Common sense 101, don’t resist arrest. I’ve seen white people get slammed to the pavement by Police with a foot on their neck, they were acting stupid and resisting.

I could be wrong about this, but I thought chokehold was banned by police department?

Truly sad. This is one of those times I believe police was in the wrong.
