I don't know. The bigger question is why didn't the woman do anything? Did she think she was drunk and it was some kind of argument going on?
It's possible. The #1 woman could have been drunk or high, but when she asked for help, the #2 woman felt she should call 911. Maybe there was some question in her mind. Either way, the woman was trying to not be taken back with the guy. She was physically resisting. He may have been coaxing her knowing she was drunk and running round half naked. We need audio to know more, but even without words, her actions showed resistance. He could have felt responsible for her and couldn't let her just wander off in that state if she were incapacitated. She could have not wanted to go with him for reasons that she didn't want to have sex with him.
She was trying to get away from him, so it's obvious their involvement was not consensual. Do you think that once he got her in the hotel room, she all of a sudden became friendly and cooperative?
Well, apparently she lied many times in her testimony, so Im not sure what actually took place, the video is very short, we dont really know the details of what led up to it, or what followed, its easy to JUMP to conclusions based on whats seen in the video, but that could be completely wrong too.
Since this victim lied so many times on the stand, Im guessing there was something else going on here, I have no idea what they may be, but if she was lying, she is trying to hide something from them.

Did you not see the jururs that talked about this? They believed if a woman gets into a car with a guy, her choices END THERE, and he can pretty much do whatever he likes from them on, its her fault for originally getting into the car with him!
This is similar to another jury trial I read about, where how the woman was dressed, played a huge factor in the juries decision, in that case, the rapist was found not guilty as well, and it was mostly due to this girl being dressed 'slutty'!
It may be hard to believe its 2019 and these things are happening, but maybe we should start teaching girls that this is the way it is today, so they better be extra careful in how they dress when they go out clubbing or whose car they get into...a jury may use it against them in the future.

And I would agree and say that's true in lieu of evidence of force being used. But here we have video evidence of force being used met with resistance.

Yeah, don't bother believing your lying eyes--or a credible witness who testified that she was crying hysterically, "Help me," over and over. Just keep telling yourself that she "apparently" lied so many times on the stand. Even his defense attorney didn't say that, but if it makes you feel better...
And BTW, we don't need to know "what followed." We only need to know what was happening at that moment. That's why the prosecution introduced the video.

This was the O.J. jury, all over again.
Well, ultimately none of that matters...he was going to be set free NO MATTER what he did to her...he was a local sports great from years past, that basically means untouchable.
What was the jury thinking? That's very damning evidence. I don't understand how they could acquit him.
