People got away with it more, women were more easily written off or shamed.

But we’ll just never know. There is no evidence, no reports were filed soon after (which itself is NOT evidence it didn’t happen). It’s pretty much too late to try to convict in a court of law. Even if there’s no SOL for some offenses, there is no evidence. Though he may be a total sleazeball, he’s on the Court and it is what it is.
guess plenty of Dem politicians will also be removed if we go buy what they "might" have done back in the day

Neither did Kavanaugh. The accusations against him are absolutely pathetic. No witnesses, no reporting at the time, no mention for years, no time or date of the attack, no location, and absolutely the most pathetic activist accuser of all times who now makes money off her unfounded allegations.

Personally I think Kavanaugh should have pushed back, filed suit, and forced her to substantiate her allegations with some form of evidence. If she couldn't, she should have been prosecuted criminally and then sued in civil court for every pathetic dime she makes off his name.

It is clear from her "testimony" she was unable to back up one damn thing she said. If there would have been one shred of evidence, she would have successfully been able to block his nomination. There wasn't and she didn't. It is like the election, another loss for the democrats that they cant come to terms with.

Since there is nothing confirmed about this, you reveal a lot with your judgment. If Kavanaugh had accused her of harassment and inappropriate behavior with zero evidence, I bet you would have been screaming for evidence and espousing the innocent until proven guilty theory. Odd how the supposed people of justice and tolerance are so diametrically opposed to their vocalized position.

Kavanaugh made an absolute denial of such behaviors to the US Senate.

With a 2020 Democrat majority in the Senate he may well be impeached. The charge will be lying to the Senate not what happened years ago. And at that point they will probably have a number of witnesses to his behavior.

Why didn’t these supposed witnesses come out to the NYt before Kavanaugh was confirmed?

Right. And, if no evidence or charges ever appear, that pattern is of false allegations. Your line of thinking is exactly what makes these red flag laws frightening and unjust. All you need are a bunch of zero moral activist accusers, and you can block any person from anything at anytime.

This swatting and doxing trend by sick people, many of which are politically motivated, has rendered accusations almost valueless these days. Sadly it has hurt battered wives, abused children, abused elderly and other victims. Now days the police and prosecutors know many allegations are false, and that many innocent people are accused for reasons of revenge, politics and for monetary gains. This hampers investigations of the crimes until investigations of the accusers can be made. I'd hate to be a battered wife sitting at home scared while the cops were investigating me to see if I was making up the story.

Kavanaugh was such a high profiler every free agent in the nation was scouring for evidence. They all knew if they could bring evidence forward, they would be richly rewarded. He still has a target on his back and people like you who are willing to accept the number of accusations as a substitute for the actual evidence are inviting more people to chime in for their 15 minutes of fame and their 13 pieces of silver.
