Well was the flooding in the Midwest natural, how about Dorian. I wouldn't point to any one event to make the claim but the fact remains that the planet is warming, you can believe the science or keep believing that this is some natural event that has yet to be explained.
Even if it is warming. A degree or two isn't going to kill all of humanity. It might kill the stupid ones who don't move from off the side of the cliff before it falls or off the beach before they are washed away but that's nature taking course to clean up the gene pool if they don't.
They do a HUGE business with people who's kids have eating and other issues over fears of accidentally being poisoned by GMO's or artificial ingredients etc. and that they'll get cancers etc.
There is a big difference between educating your kids about healthy choices and indoctrinating them to the point of having mental illness.
It's no different than a religion though. One day those kids will get older and see they'd been at least partially lied to and either burrow deeper with rationalizations or become very cynical about such claims. But hey, what do I know....I'm old and was just darn lucky to survive the impending ice age of the 1970's and the great die-off of how 1 billion people on earth would cause mass famine and war.
