Again, walking into the trap of the manipulators.

ANY disagreement with their chosen face of the discussion (a helpless 16 yr old) is considered disgusting. NOBODY is allowed to even DARE disagree with this child or question the motives of her handlers without being considered human refuse and morally inept.

Hitler and many PhD level psychologists would be so proud of the level of manipulation some of you people have blindly walked into.

Teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg, speaking at the United Nations General Assembly today, said she shouldn't have to be addressing the crisis.

"I should be back in school, on the other side of the ocean. Yet you all come to us young people for hope," she said. "How dare you!"

She continued: "You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words — and yet, I'm one of the lucky ones. People are suffering, people are dying."

People can belittle her and others all they want but these kids are our future and thank god they care. We can have the technology and the finest things in the world but if we don’t take care of this planet then none of that matters.

You can tell who will be dead when the chickens come home to roost based on their complete inaction. It's just the cherry on top to insult the little girl who is shaming you into paying attention.

Not sure what that means but for man-made climate change there is very, very strong scientific consensus. In fact, a study was done by the highly respected Lawrence Livermore Lab which performed a rigorous statistical study of three independent global temperature databases and found with 99.999994% certainty that the ONLY possible explanation for rising temperatures is from fossil fuel burning.

Aw shut it you spoiled little snotrag. If anyone stole your childhood it was the adults in your life who raised you in a climate of hysteria despite the fact no generation has ever had it easier and better than yours.

Good job leftists. You've scared the sh-t out of an autistic kid who thinks she is literally going to catch on fire unless we adopt iron-age technology and communism. Look up the attributes of people on the Asperger's spectrum. You are using her sickness to push your agenda and that makes you child abusers by proxy. Disgusting.

Shaming people to pay attention? LOL Sorry, but if you need a 16yr old to educate you on anything, you've got bigger issues to deal with than Climate Change.

Agreed. We have tremendous amounts of regulations and taxes on fossil fuels already.
Yeah, right....According the the IMF, the world spent $4.7 trillion — or 6.3 percent of global GDP — in 2015 to subsidize fossil fuel use, a figure it estimated rose to $5.2 trillion in 2017.May 8, 2019....That's TRILLION, not billion.
