Who specifically stole her childhood?

What does that mean?

Yes, she was dramatic. (Anyone been around any pre-teens/teen-agers lately?) Yes, she sees the entire issue in black and white? Repeat above question.
She sure does trigger them. She's quite a powerhouse. Look at the millions of young people this year who have marched as opposed to just her last year. She is hitting a nerve for sure.

And all of it, it appears, is totally wasted on her. Let her eat (flax) cake.

This argument is tired. I'm not part of the "MAGA crowd" by any means, but its the same tripe you folks rolled out to lamely attempt to counter any dissent towards AOC, David Hogg, and now this girl. Nobody is afraid, triggered, or having a nerve hit.

People have basic disagreements with the whole concept of whats going on with this girl, those are called opinions. They aren't any of the other silly, vapid, meaningless things you all try to deflect with.

Making no difference whatsoever. If she and the rest of the flakes are in panic, they can just go sit down, take a time-out and wait a decade. At the end of said period, all will still be fine.

I think she thinks the worry she's feeling with the dire threats that we will all cook or drown in next 5 years is ruining her childhood.

Welcome to the world, sister. We had our "childhoods stolen" sitting under desks with our arms over our heads, and my parents wondered if the economy would ever bounce back, or if humanity was headed for mass starvation during the depression.

For the most part, we're all still here, remembering that awful feeling that comes with the realization that we aren't bulletproof. One day, we'll all be dust.

I'm entitled to my opinion as well, eh?

Let's hope she doesn't get the death threats that David Hogg did.

It means the world she wants to live in won't be here very much longer. She's doing what the adults in the room should have been doing years ago.

She stole from herself once she swallowed the Kool Aid, served up, of course, by the "adult" activists.

The climate strike in Victoria, BC.

Quote:
Alongside youth from over 150 countries around the world, students have converged in BC's capital and plan to occupy the intersection of Government and Belleville Streets starting at 2:00 p.m. this afternoon for 11 straight hours.
The road closure is meant to represent 11 hours of action for the 11 years until 2030, the deadline for the planet to stop a rise of 1.5 C in global temperatures to prevent environmental catastrophes, according to the United Nations.
