What's Trump done that's so awful? Just the facts!
He won against their chosen one Hillary even with the help of the media. The media thought they had so much power over the people but by wining he put them in their place showing them that the people are not so easily manipulated and brain washed and that bruised their egos.
Here are the things that stand out the most for me:
- Believing, publicly, Putin over his own law enforcement agencies.
- Paying off the bimbos with campaign funds (the infamous "individual number one" in Cohen's indictment for the same).
- The way he treated John McCain, who was in a POW prison for five years, was disgusting. To borrow a phrase, Trump is not worthy to carry McCain's jock strap.
- Taking the word of the murderous Saudi, MBS, over his own agency, about Kashoogi's murder
- Providing cover for Kim so he can build more nukes and more missiles.
- Starting a trade war with China.
- Calling Mexicans rapists and murderers
- Not condemning white nationalism
- Promising to fix healthcare but not doing anything to lead the effort. All he did was throw bombs.
- Making a shambles out of all of our relationship with long time allies
- Abandoning the Iran treaty that was working, and now Iran is enriching uranium again. He has put the whole effort back many years and endangered the entire ME.
"Calling Mexicans rapists and murderers"? This lie and spin of the truth again after all these years? He said that Mexico was sending us their rapists and murderers. Mexicans who come here legally are not "sent" they come on their own with papers in hand and are not the ones Trump was referring to! Those that Mexico are sending/encouraging to come here are the illegal alien kind and those are the ones Trump was speaking about. He didn't say they were all that way either. He said some were good people. Geezus, this is getting ridiculous repeating the same old lie over and over again. Get a grip!
I got a good laugh at this, thanks for posting your "facts".
As we all know, those are not facts, they are just biased assumptions, because they hate Trump.
These Trump-haters have convinced themselves that Trump is an evil, vile, scheming scoundrel, a Hitleresque villain. They draw from that, to create conspiracy theories of the worst case scenarios, for what they think Trump might be capable of. Then it's just a simple matter of looking for any scrap of evidence that aligns with their assumptions about Trump.
So if Trump talks to a head of state, it's assumed that Trump's motivations and intent for the call must be nefarious in nature. And then the conspiracy theories begin.
I think a lot of this comes from people who are just projecting themselves onto Trump. Democrats, like Obama, Hilary, and their cronies, weaponized the power of federal government to punish and discredit their political opponents. Now they just assume everyone else must do it to, including of course, Trump.
I can assure you that Obama, Hilary, and the people who support them, look upon themselves as "the good people." This is why they must vilify everyone else.. If they know, that they have committed unsavory and felonious activities, surely their political opponents must be even worse than they are. Remember, they see themselves as "the good people."
I'll make it even easier. What has Trump accomplished for the United States? What promises has he fulfilled? Tell us Trump supporters. What has he DONE to help us? Has he:
1. Built that wall? Nope. Did Mexico pay for it? Hell no. In fact, government employees were forced to work 6 weeks without pay during the longest government shutdown in history due to him.
2. Has he skipped vacations and worked all the time like Trump said he would? No. He's taken more vacations than any president in history, in fact.
3. Drained the swamp? Definitely not. We've had more scandals and criminal charges involving his staff than any other POTUS.
4. Given us universal health care? That's a negative.
5. Improved the economy? Actually, it's doing slightly worse since he was inaugurated.
6. Improved our horrid education system? Not with that idiot Betsy DeVos at the helm. We don't even have the voucher system some parents want.
7. Forced China to pay for his tariffs? No, Americans are paying for those as well, especially farmers whose bankruptcies we are now subsidizing.
Tell us what he's done FOR US, not for himself, Trump supporters.
The OP's question was What has Trump done that is so awful. I listed the things that I find awful. Some are "wrongdoing" like paying off the bimbos for which he was an unindicted co-conspirator with Cohen. Whether you want to call Trump's actions in office wrongdoings, crimes, or just stupidity is immaterial. The things he has done indicate someone who is unfit for office. He has no idea what he is doing and is dragging America down just as he put many of his businesses into bankruptcy.
Four of the five claims in the OP didn't actually happen at all.
I keep running into people asking (disingenuously?), "What's Trump done that's so bad?"
I can't quite figure out if they've lived in a cave for the last few years, or they know perfectly well but want to put the burden on the other person, or they just have no standards of propriety.
