Trump may very well have committed some offenses, but unfortunately for the Democrats, announcing impeachment inquiries the night of the election on 2016 isn't very good PR and makes all of these attempts look like temper tantrums. The voters are simply burned out with their rhetoric and most see their attempts as simply a means to get rid of a political opponent.

I believe this will all backfire on the Dems and result in a Trump win in 2020.

If popular vote were an issue Trump would have spent a lot more time in the suburbs of LA, San Fransisco and New York City than he did. While those areas are probably not majority Republican in a popular vote contest a voter is a voter. In an Electoral Vote contest the votes in swing states such as Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa and Colorado are important, whereas the votes of the Republican minority in suburbs of major cities not so much.

Change the rules, a successful candidate changes his or her tactics. The successful use of the rules does not make the election results illegitimate.

If you are a trump fan, this should be good news, yes? Why then is trump and Fox News in an uproar about this?

Finally, an honest post by a Trumper. You are perfectly fine that the president is illegally conducting foreign policy for political gain against a rival.

If this behavior is allowed to be normalized, you will be smacking your heads and screaming bloody murder when other political parties are emboldened to do the same thing in future elections.

Is that the latest conspiracy theory? It is hard to keep up with that.

I never said I didn't support impeachment. What I said is that the previous tactics and current ones as well have not done the Dems any favors. By crying wolf for years, their argument is weakened considerably and the public isn't behind them.

I don't recall that do you have a source.

Right now around 50% are in favor of impeachment, big divide between democrats and republicans around 70-30 so its not unpopular at this point.
