I cannot tell you people how thankful I am this person started posting this afternoon to let us know there was a chance Trump would get re-elected. It has made my Daylight Savings Time day, and soon I shall go to sleep, comfortable in the knowledge that someone so erudite has also divined this possibility.
Hardly surprising. Since when didn't a president win a second term when the economy was doing good as is now?
I'm a Democrat, a Catholic Democrat. But for other Democrats who think this next election is a sure fire bet and America will go back to normal I may be the first telling you this but you may be wrong.
Here is what I know or think I know. All the stats say the wealthy received the biggest tax cut in history. Then all the stats say the Economy is healthy and booming with record unemployment and rising wages. Now, whether I agree with the stats or not is not the question that is how it is portrayed. Typically, in American History a President is given a second term when it looks this good. (Mind you I disagree with how it looks but that is what the media directors are presenting.)
That all works in Trump's favor. Then the top candidates may not be as strong to the general public as they are to their individual niche markets. I'm thinking Warren and Sanders. With Joseph Biden speaking to a broader audience, realistically he is old and speaks from a different era.
So, yes, Trump might get a second term. What do you think? What will you do? Is America ever going to be the same again?
For me I'll vote for any Democrat running against him. But when election night comes a year from now and potentially Trump wins don't say you didn't hear it from somewhere.

Why is everyone forgetting mayor Pete? He is no socialist, has a reasonable moderate platform. He is climbing in the polls. Biden is done, Warren and Sanders are way too left. It's early days yet, but I would love to see him debate Trump, Trump would get killed.

Some want to Tax private retirement accounts, even more than they already do when you pull money from them.
Their plan to pay for Universal health care, if you can call it a plan, will absolutely add many trillions to our debt.
It's almost as if the Democrat party wants 4 more years of Trump.
Mean while it seems like Trump is doing all that he can to prevent 4 more years of Trump.

And acceptance that Trump will win in 2020 is the answer to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find that unacceptable. I can find no serenity until I accept that fact as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment.
Don’t drink and accept that Trump will be around for 5 more years!
I will vote for whoever the Democrat nominee is. BTW, Trump hasn't ended any of the wars. His tax cuts have benefited the rich. He's no prize and has actually done more harm to this country than good. I don't care who the nominee is.
Yes, his tax plan has benefited me, my small businesses and the main company I work for, and thanks to this, we are able to invest more into our communities. And where are getting that he has done more harm to this country than good? You need to lay off the MSM and actually step outside and go for a walk. And I bet you, a Republican controlled county in Texas is probably more cleaner, environmentally friendly, and safer to walk around than Democrat controlled hell holes like San Francisco or Seattle. Heck, how do you like them liberal terrorist, Antifa??? Heck, even these mass shootings are taking place in democrat strongholds.
