this ^^^^ (the bolded word) is exhibit a for why the whistle blower should be kept anonymous and protected. The wb was acting very much within the law so cannot be a traitor by any stretch of the term. People who use that term to describe americans who care deeply for the integrity of this country are the ones we need to be worried about.

We don't vote and elect a candidate so Adam Schiff can do a screen test and misrepresent the words of the POTUS in Congress hoping to get him removed . . We don't vote and elect a POTUS so some disgruntled Government Employee who got placed in a cubicle without a window and doesn't like the foreign policy of this Administration decides to get into the cabal of Democrats.
If you want to maintain the issues that are so dear to you, elect someone in an election. Many Americans didn't agree with Barack and Nancy looting the Treasury, but we had to live with it. The solution was to elect someone that stands with us.
If Joe Biden as VP used Hunter as a cut-out in order to peddle US influence, that is a legit matter for the US government to pursue. It appears that Joe/Hunter probably deliberately took their influence peddling off-shore where the FBI could not easily investigate.
And if they are just allowed to get away with it scot-free, we are guaranteed that other US politicians will follow the model in the future.
Your conspiracy theory, which I am certain was fed to you by some right-wing media talking head for defection, is not relevant to the possible bribery our president committed with funding appropriated by congress.
At any rate, it's ridiculous to hope or expect Senate Republicans to think their fellow Republican, Trump, should be impeached simply over trying to get foreign help in finding dirt on his Democrat rival--Biden. It doesn't matter if such an act is against election law.
By using congress appropriated funding as leverage to get dirt on a political opponent, it would be an impeachable offense.
Why can't the whistle blower come before the Senate? The House has no say in that.
