He already stated that he didn't meet with the whistle blower, stated it again at the conclusion of yesterday's hearing. They could subpoena him and he could say the same thing again, then what. This is just another republican diversion from all the testimony.

We will see who this is "unraveling" for exactly. I want to see what Gordon Sondland has to say.
If he admits having a call with the president at a restaurant and has 2 people who heard the conversation corroborate it, what then ?
The president won't even be able to discredit Sondland because he has already stated he doesn't remember the phone call.
BTW the "Russia, Russia, Russia" thing wasn't a "nothing-burger. Read the Mueller report.

We shall see.

Schiff stated he doesn't know the identity of the WB. That's different from him saying he never met with him.

Everybody knows the name of the WB; it was outed last week.

Besides all the R's have to do is subpoena members of Schiff's staff. Under threat of imprisonment due to perjury, they will roll over on Schiff easily and will testify if he knew or met with the WB. Then Schiff goes to prison.

Of course the President can reasonably call anyone to testify who is reasonably connected to this exercise, and Schiff is, through his collusion with Eric Ciaramella (The "whistleblower") in advance of his leaking his rendition of President Trump's phone call with the President of Ukraine.

Graham also clarified that hearsay would not be allowed:

This is really not going very well for the resistance, is it? If they only had confidence in the Democrat left all-star team that is currently running for the Democrat party nomination for president, they would not be so frantic about their efforts to weaponize the impeachment process against their duly elected political adversary.

We are having a presidential election in less than a year, after all.
Yes, it's actually going well for Democrats, and I'd be pleased if Schiff were called as a witness, since - unlike Trump - he's knowledgeable and keeps his cool.

However, more importantly, I wanted to point out that it's really improper, to put it mildly, for you to highlight "Eric Ciaramella" as the whistleblower. First, it's not known for certain who the whistleblower is. Second, we've all seen instances where someone's life was wrecked by been wrongly targeted. And third, your lack of respect for the concept of whistleblowing, which is, of course, dependent on secrecy, is really distressing.

Lindsay Graham gets ever more absurd by the day.

1. There's no quid pro quo! If there's a quid pro quo it will be serious!

2. Okay there's a quid pro quo, but it's all irrelevant unless there's a vote to hold hearings!

3. Okay there was a vote but I'm not watching the hearings or having anything to do with the hearings!

4. Okay I actually am watching the hearings and I want Adam Schiff as a witness!....

.... and so it goes on...

Yawn.

If the Russia hoax was not a nothingburgers, then why aren't Adam Schiff and the Democrats currently trying to impeach Trump based on that report?

The answer could not be any more crystal clear.

Schiff, the one who kept saying he had the evidence that Trump colluded with Russia and lied about contacting the whistleblower?

The GOP and the old "turn defense into offense" ploy. the only people buying their BS are hard core Trump fans...the talk radio and Fox news crowd.

If you want to go after Biden, have your own inquiry.

If you want to go after Schiff, have our own inquiry.

this situation is about Trump strong arming people to get dirt on his political rivals. It's sleazy and totally expected from him. We know, it isn't a big enough deal for you to impeach him because you "hate the libs".

They could NOT exonerate the president & that is what is crystal clear. Read the report.

The report says not a single American was charge regarding colluding with Russia. It was a massive loan for you and even Dems acknowledge it. You don’t get exonerated for crimes you haven’t been charged with
