Do any of you believe any Senate Republican will vote to remove Trump from office?
Seriously. So what's the end game here besides a defeat? Anybody?
Having Trump go down as one of only 4 Presidents to be impeached by the House and tried in the Senate. He’ll carry a stain throughout our history. That’s his punishment.
They could NOT exonerate the president & that is what is crystal clear. Read the report.
Mueller Report did NOT exonerate Trump, despite what Barr tried to suggest and Block Congress any access to "Report that included Grand Jury info~~

Those claiming wrong doing of the "Prosecutor ( Schiff ).. better be prepared.. He may be more than willing to testify in the Senate "Trial".. however, what most dis-remember, Judge ( SCOTUS) Roberts will be heading this trial by the Senate and WILL have a say/rulings on objections as well as allowing certain testimonies!
This puts MoscowMitch in a REAL Tight BOX!! H's no newbie on the block.. and realizes.. "Trump is cooked .. and will not risk losing his re-election bid by backing this losing.. Silence is golden, Doing Nothing ( his modes operand since Dems passed hundreds bills since Jan 2019 that have not been addressed).. BUT WRITING is on the WALL..
I'd bet my farm IF I had one on Schiff would be more than willing to testify if subpoena came his way!!

this situation is about Trump strong arming people to get dirt on his political rivals. It's sleazy and totally expected from him. We know, it isn't a big enough deal for you to impeach him because you "hate the libs".

If the Russia hoax was not a nothingburgers, then why aren't Adam Schiff and the Democrats currently trying to impeach Trump based on that report?
The answer could not be any more crystal clear.
They haven't written the articles of impeachment yet so we don't know what will be in it. Adding articles for 8 counts of obstruction would be very easy since the charges are all laid out in the Mueller report and there is no need to even have hearings, just the trial. They could also add a charge of campaign finance violation since Trump was an unindicted co-conspirator with Cohen. I think they should add a charge of failure to protect and defend the Constitution when Trump divulged classified info.
Who knows what they will put in the articles?
