Compare the health of people in liberal Compton to conservative Newport Beach.

In Colorado, interesting how healthy population is in very conserative areas like Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch and Parker as opposed to liberal areas like Federal Heights, Aurora, Commerce City

Liberals tend to encourage drug-use, e-cigarette use is big in liberal states, liberal cities have a huge bar cultures full of very high percentage alcohol beer.
I love the way some people cherry pick their cities as if it proves their thesis.

How about comparing ultra-liberal Boulder to, say, any random town in West Virginia?

No, of course lovecrowds wouldn't do that because it would destroy his/her/its thesis.

Liberalism itself is escapism from hard reality to a degree.
Being attractive or not is genetics, not politics or behavior.

Yeah, based on people's personal health ratings. Elsewhere they did say that other research has found that those do tend to be fairly accurate, BUT we don't know if that accuracy is equal across political lines.

The article also doesn't say how big the difference is. Do 1% rate themselves as healthier? or 10%? 50%? A lot of times people just look at these studies where there is a minor difference and make it out to be one ideology or party being VASTLY superior to the other.

I am pretty certain people who have poor health would be more likely to be in favor of liberal policies simply because of their health. They may be putting the cart before the horse in their conclusions in this study.

Are we taking mental health into consideration? If so, its a draw.

I can only guess that right-leaners have had better blood pressure over the last 3 years than some left-leaners.

Drive through any major inner city, fatties everywhere. Surely an epidemic.

The southern states have a higher proportion of blacks who are the unhealthiest major demographic group. Blacks are not generally considered liberal.
