I wonder how on earth you have reached the conclusion that people who support this law are not sickened by murder.

But oh well.

BTW, in case it has escaped your attention, torturing and killing people for any reason has a long history of being illegal at the federal level. Now it's also against federal law to torture and kill animals for entertainment. I can't help but wonder why you and others are are miffed about this. I will say I'm VERY GLAD you don't live in my vicinity.

I guess that's you saying that you are. If so, good. I was worried.

You don't know where I live.

And I'm not miffed by anything. Take a look at the poll results. I neither approve, disapprove, nor am I uncertain of how I feel about this bill becoming a law. I'm completely neutral.

I totally approve. It's maybe the best thing to come out of Trump's presidency. I just hope it passes.

I couldn't believe there was never a law! Here is the signing ceremony at the White House so you can see some of the people involved in this bipartisan effort.

Since Trump supports this, I wonder how many of the Loony Left have flipped and now demand more animal cruelty.

It was interesting to hear a law enforcement woman at the ceremony connect animal cruelty to domestic violence. It makes sense though since animal cruelty seems to be a common denominator of serial killers.

Trump: Can I call a friend for advice?

Handlers: Fox and Friends isn't currently available Mr. President.

Trump: Oh

Handlers: Mr. President, if you sign this bill it will make the fake news go crazy.

Trump: OK
Probably pretty close to the truth.

Nj went one step further and outlawed declawing cats.

That move will guarantee more cats are put to death as people who have a cat that claws up the furniture will have no alternative but to put the cat down.

doubt they will hire an animal behaviorist and spend time and money on a doubtful outcome. Sure some will, most won't. the cat kill will now commence with gov murphy's signature.

I thought at first this bill was a good idea. Im not so sure anymore. If the sponsor of the bill was animal rights activists then this bill should have been vetoed. Since there are a number of categories of “abuse” in this bill, the definitions under those categories are not so clear cut. Im coming to believe this may have been a very dangerous bill.
