LOL... where's the jurisdiction? Washington, DC and other federal territories?
Can't extend into the States unless there's a specific reason - like interstate commerce.
"Crushing" refers to an infamous video of a woman in high heels crushing a small animal - I think it was a kitten, may have been a puppy or a guinea pig - to death by stomping on it.
Some folks pleasure themselves watching vids featuring animal torture, just as some get off on under-the-radar vids of child rape and adult torture featuring actual victims rather than actors. And they'll pay for them, hence there are people who will produce and sell them. It wouldn't surprise me to hear that the people who supply videos to one group also supply videos to the others.
I know, the very idea that such people exist and walk amongst us makes me turn bilious green too. Apparently, there are posters right here on C-D who don't feel nauseous about this stuff.

You will be astounded to hear this, but videos can be (e)mailed across state lines. Yes! It's true! Modern technology is a wondrous thing, you should really look into it sometime.

Humans kill other humans every hour of every day. Is this not supposed to make us sick to our stomachs as well?
Why is the focus on Trump here? He merely approved the bill, which was a bipartisan effort introduced in the House by both a Democrat and a Republican, and sponsored in the Senate by both a Democrat and a Republican. The bill was a response to the cruelty in "crush videos" that some people get off on, and the specific wording was that it would be a felony for "any person to intentionally engage in animal crushing if the animals or animal crushing is in, substantially affects, or uses a means or facility of, interstate or foreign commerce." It has nothing to do with hunting.
I think this law is something that all of us can get behind, regardless of our politics.
Trump did nothing beyond signing a bipartisan, veto- proof bill.

And its the same creeps patting themselves on the back with "look how much we care about the animals" "climate" "environment", who also order the bombs that fall on the schools, shops and hospitals, that kill women, children, pets, livestock, wildlife...
And the electorate doesn't see the hypocrisy in any of it
Morons.
Something good bipartisan happened and still has to be made anti Trump.
Exactly why we're screwed.
