So far Trump has had 0 Due Process. This happens in the Senate trial.
Trump was invited to come to the House and do so, or send his lawyers in his stead, and he ran away and hid like the coward that he is.

That dog won't hunt.

I think the republicans ought to dig in and double down, personally.

Why in God's name would Biden, or Schiff be testifying? They aren't being impeached.

Do they have evidence relevant to Trump's impeachment charges?

If you recall, they screamed about wanting public hearings - until they got them.
Then they screamed about Trump being excluded from the hearings - until he was specifically invited, in person or by proxy, and he declined.

If they want Schiff to testify, they had better be ready for what the public may get to see and hear on the evening news. Like Ben Franklin siad, "Marry in haste, repent at leisure."
The only person worried about Schiff having to testify is Schiff because he'll either have to admit to numerous lies or get caught in a perjury trap....and he just might incriminate himself or the "whistleblower", someone who will also be forced to testify if this freak show gets enough votes in the House to make it to the Senate, if he's not careful about what he says.

Right now in the House the deck is stacked against Republicans and the president and the Democrats still failed to do any damage either to the president or the economy....it'll only get worse for them if they put this in the Senate.

All that’s left now is for Republicans to pretend up is down and wrong is right.

I'm sure Schiff is losing sleep over the possibilty of having to testify.

If this gets to the Senate, we'll find out what they have to say and determine if any of it is relevant later because Hunter Biden and Adam Schiff will definitely be called and they can't refuse.

And half the country believes he is such as well, chosen by God for that matter. We currently have this divine right of kings in action in the USA.
