Chocolate doesn't kill people at greater rates than vanilla.

The fact that that's all you could come up with for a rebuttal is proof of how weak your position is.

Anybody who chooses a pitbull over just about any other breed has some screwy things going on between the ears. One would think they might be hooligans at heart, perhaps.

Hm, how “macho” did I feel this morning, walking my dog who was wearing her pink puffy coat?

I feel badly for people like you who are frightened by dogs, I do. I hope you are able to get over it.

Pit bulls are often the subject of cruelty, they are used in dog fighting in many countries and often have totally irresponsible owners, one of the reasons some countries have banned them, the other reason being the sheer power and aggressive nature of certain breeds.

Recent legislation in countries such as the UK has concentrated on the owner rather than the dog, which is the right and sensible thing to do.

People are only frightened of dogs if they are out of control in public, and they are usually more violent if they are neglected after correctly or subjected to ill treatment.

Floorist seems convinced that my dog will eventually kill someone, which to me, suggests a phobic-level irrational fear.

Laws in the UK are increasingly aimed at the owner, as it'ds the owner that must contol their dog in public and it's the owner that should ensure any dog is properly looked after.

I have been attacked by a "loving pit" . So they should not be allowed in public.

Many pitts do suddenly attack without warning. According to stats they are the dog most likely to kill someone.

But they are. I’m taking my dog to the beach in a couple of hours, in fact.

Sounds like you either need to work on your phobia, or not go out in public? Because as unbelievable as it may seem, the world does not revolve around you and what frightens you.
